How To Level Dips In Your Lawn

Achieving a perfectly level lawn like a golf course involves a few steps. Firstly, identify the dips in your lawn and fill them with soil (you could also use a mix of soil and sand for best results). Use a levelling rake, regular rake or even an outdoor brush to distribute the soil evenly, filling any gaps, and smoothing it out to the existing level you'd like it sitting. Thoroughly water the area and let it settle, repeat this whole process if need until your desired level is reached. Once dips are filled in we could also give our lawn a semi-thin, top dressing of fine sand to help with drainage and really smooth out the surface.

Levelling your lawn is one of those things that can never be dead perfect, repeat the process as many times applicable. Many experts recommend top dressing on a regular basis for best results.
